From August 25 to September 26, Julie Velle, PhD student from the laboratory participated to a scientific expedition on board the R/V Maria S. Merian in the St. Lawrence Estuary and Gulf, as well as along the coast of Labrador and in Hudson Strait. During this joint expedition lead by the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde, several areas were mapped and sediment cores collected. On board, Julie notably sampled u-channels for their subsequent analysis in the laboratory.
